Glossary
Refrigerant
The working fluid that circulates in a refrigeration system and transfers heat through its own phase change (vaporization/liquefaction). Common examples include ammonia (R717), freon (such as R22, R404A, R134a), and carbon dioxide (R744).
Refrigeration Unit:
Condensing Unit: An integrated unit comprising a compressor, condenser, and related components.
Compressor Condenser Unit
Parallel Compressor Rack: A system where multiple compressors are connected in parallel, sharing a common condenser and piping system. It offers high energy efficiency and strong reliability, making it the mainstream configuration for modern medium and large-scale cold storage facilities.
